BluePad v0.5 has just been released.
This new version features a complete redesign of the main menu to support more variate phone screens.
Also, the Title Screen of death that makes you press 5 every time you use BluePad is now gone forever!!
Apart from that, some part of the code was also refactored.
Currently the new version is only available on SVN but we plan on releasing it to SourceForge ASAP.
Here’s how to get the new jar:
$ svn co https://bluepad.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/bluepad/trunk/bluepad_mobile
This will create a bluepad_mobile folder in your current directory containing BluePad and BluePad_alternative folders.
The jar is inside the bin folder of both of the BluePad mobile versions.
Use the regular BluePad version unless you have a Nokia S60 or another phone that doesn’t like the normal version.
Hope you like the new main menu. The next scheduled changes will make BluePad even better but that’s a secret kept in a scroll deep in a mysterious Portuguese city’s catacombs where everybody can go in but only me and Valério come out alive.

A ligação ao bluetooth está a trabalhar bem e o BluePad 0.4 está tb instalado.
Como é que eu coloco o ficheiro bluepad.jar instalado nos programas java do celular (samsung e250)?
Já o descarreguei pró celular só que aparece em outros ficheiros e n1 dá pra fazer nada:(

Normalmente basta passar o ficheiro jar para o telemóvel e depois instalá-lo através do menu aplicações.
Claro que isto depende dos telemóveis, por exemplo, certos modelos só permitem a execução de aplicações se descarregadas da web através do telemóvel.
Se não for capaz de instalar passando-o por cabo para o telemóvel, exprimente passá-lo através de bluetooth.
Muitos telemóveis também necessitam do ficheiro .jad que se encontra na mesma pasta onde está o jar.
De qualquer forma, aconsêlho a leitura do manual de uso do seu telemóvel.

para instalar un jar escribe en la pantalla principal del teléfono

aparecerá un mensaje diciendo “Activado”
luego abre el archivo bluepad.jad <– ojo jad
y se instalará
Otro error es el siguiente
cuando un jar pesa mas de 300kib
no puede ser instalado en un samsung

El programa me parece una verdadera maravilla, pero sera posible hacerlo funcionar en Mac??
No lo sé, si puedes controlar el bluetooth de Mac a traves de Python, probablemente sí se puede.
Recuerda que el programa es para telefonos con J2ME, lo que es ya un poco raro hoy en día.
